Program Notes

I combined two melodies in this piece to convey a powerless, yet victorious spirit. One of these melodies has a sense of powerless pleading. The other melody has a sense of peace and also a spirit of eagerness to provide help and grace. By combining these melodies, I want to give a sense of deep victory that only happens after an intense struggle.
